Growing up I loved the imagination and wonder in each and every Disney film from Snow White to Moana I have watched them all. Looking back at all of the animated films that they have created and my own growth as an artist. I know that the same magic from those movies has inspired a lot of my own creative stylings. Then in high school, I was told about graphic design by my school counselor. It was a perfect opportunity to take my passion for art and make a career for myself. Since then, I have been working to create my own story equal to Disney’s.
I have a lot of passion for
print and layout design.
The experience I’ve gained from both my classes and professors has taught me engaging design layout that appeals to my desired target market. I have learned a considerable amount from school and work, but I think what I have enjoyed the most is learning typography. I found that working with fonts to create eye-catching taglines, headers, and body copy are some of my favorite design tasks.
In today's market, you need to know web-design.
Another skill I have learned while at school is HTML coding, and though I have only just scratched the surface of what is possible with the web, my work so far has been clean and I remain eager to learn more!
Just like any other artist, I enjoy traditional art.
Even with everything I have picked up art and illustration has remained a big part of my design style. When I’m completing projects and assignment I love when I can incorporate traditional art into my designs. Whether it’s for a client’s project or for myself drawing and illustration will always be a part of my life.
