This course introduces students to videography, digital photography, 3-dimensional computer graphics, and animation involving cartooning, spinning logos, and special effects. Proficiency in the basic programs will be attained and applied through interactive assignments for web pages and other presentation formats. Efficient and effective use of software programs will be vital for portfolio presentation.

Course Objective:

Students will be introduced to 3- dimensional rendering and multimedia software. Assignments will include the creation of web pages, TV commercials and training CDs using special computer graphic effects. It also utilizes and expands on all computer software programs introduced previously.

Performance Objective:

Students will be tested on their technical ability and their design quality in their various multimedia projects. At the completion of this course, students will be familiar with interactive and motion design.
