Design & Illustration 202

This last design course of the two-year degree program will be developing and fine tuning the students’ creative and technical skills for portfolio preparation. Precision, accuracy, and speed will be of great importance in preparing for deadlines and “real life” situations. Students will be challenged to work in an efficient manner and to avoid costly mistakes and project delays by learning to estimate project budgets and set up timelines while still producing appropriate and creative designs.

Course Objective:

Students will be able to design, illustrate, plan, and produce a complex project from creative concepts to the final production of digital files.

Performance Objective:

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to produce an advanced project such as an annual report from the initial creative planning stages to final digital files.
